Job Requirements
- Minimum four years of related experience in food and beverage management positions within the golf, hospitality, or service industry
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capability to lift 30-60 pounds
- Capacity to bend, stoop, carry, and reach in all directions
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to push and pull objects such as pots, plates, and food
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong listening and comprehension skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum four years of related experience in food and beverage management within golf, hospitality, or service industry
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and build bridges between departments

- Effective communication with guests and employees

- Follow-up and resolves issues promptly
- Excellent communication, customer service and leadership skills
- Computer proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience using ClubEssentials preferred
- Knowledge of and passion for golf preferred
Job Duties
- Assist in hiring, training, supervising, scheduling and evaluating service staff
- Ensure that all staff are well-groomed and in proper uniform
- Develop detailed plans for events in conjunction with Executive Chef and Catering Manager
- Consult daily with Executive Chef, Catering Director, and other applicable club administrators to assure the highest level of member and guest satisfaction at minimum cost
- Hold pre-function meeting with servers to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Assign server stations and coordinate the timing of courses
- Ensure that all functions and shifts are properly staffed in accordance with the approved staffing schedule
- Regularly inspect all front- and back-of-the-house service areas and equipment to assure sanitation, safety, energy management, and preventive maintenance standards
- Diagram buffet tables, guest tables and other function room set-up needs for special and club events
- Confirm all side-work is accomplished and that cleaning of equipment and storage areas is completed according to schedule
- Lead floor supervision during restaurant and banquet service
- Ensure all appropriate charges are billed correctly to each event and forwarded to accounting
- Serve as liaison between service personnel, kitchen staff and other staff members
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of all food and beverage areas
- Ensure proper inventory of all service equipment and supplies
- Act as head waiter at special, private functions
- Handle member and guest complaints
- Address and resolve employee issues
- Assist in service and tableside cookery as needed
- Attend scheduled staff meetings
- Assist with audits and approval of weekly payroll
- Assume closing manager duties when assigned
- Conduct after-event evaluations to improve quality and efficiency
- Assist with monthly food and beverage inventories
- Make recommendations for replacement and upgrading of service equipment
- Establish and maintain professional relations with vendors
- Ensure state and local laws and club policies for alcoholic beverage service are consistently followed
- Assist with ongoing sales efforts for group and local function business
- Assist in preparation of marketing plan and annual budget
- Promote club activities using multiple communication channels
- Plan and develop training and professional development programs
- Maintain active involvement in community and industry organizations
- Establish relationships and partnerships within community and competitive set
- Participate in industry, community, employee and customer events as necessary.
