The Food and Beverage Director position at Aramark plays a pivotal role in shaping the dining experience and operational success of food service establishments. On the client side, the director maintains strong relationships with management and customers, identifying needs, communicating operational improvements, and taking part in sales and contract negotiations. They also spearhead initiatives to innovate food service solutions that align with the client’s mission, vision, and sustainability goals.

Operational duties include managing purchasing processes, inventory control, sanitation, food production, distribution, and menu development. The director ensures compliance with all health, safety, wage laws, and Aramark policies. They are responsible for leading units that coordinate production processes, quality assurance, cost containment, and employee development. They also oversee customer-facing areas of the restaurant and support the implementation of food service schemes rooted in environmentally conscious practices.
