As a Food and Beverage Director at Aramark, you will play a critical leadership role in the management and strategic development of the food and beverage operations to meet and exceed customer expectations. This full-time managerial position involves overseeing all aspects of dining services, including the selection, preparation, and distribution of meals. You will lead a diverse team, driving recruitment, coaching, evaluation, and motivation initiatives to ensure high performance and exceptional service standards. Your responsibilities will entail maintaining safety and sanitation protocols, managing budgets and financial performance with a focus on cost control and profit maximization, and ensuring adherence to Aramark's operational excellence model.

The role requires strong client relationship management skills to identify customer needs and communicate operational improvements effectively. You will be responsible for operational forecasting, inventory control, labor scheduling, and supervising the entire production and distribution process. Additionally, you will coordinate with various stakeholders to uphold compliance with health, safety, wage laws, and industry standards. Job Requirements

  • Background of at least four years in the food and beverage field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years managerial experience
  • Experience in the food and beverage sector
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective client and customer relationships
  • Skilled in delivering customer service per company guidelines
  • Ability to collaborate with other units
  • Capability to lift, transport, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Stamina to stand for long periods
  • Must comply with safety, health, and wage laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications

  • At least four years of experience in the food and beverage field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years in a managerial position
  • Experience working in the food and beverage sector
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to lift, transport, push, and pull items up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Supervise, advise, involve, and enhance teams to boost their impact, encompassing recruitment, evaluation, education, guidance, and performance oversight
  • Confirm that food offerings are in line with the Executional Framework
  • Assist employees in understanding goals and steps required through effective coaching
  • Maintain safety and sanitation standards across all operations
  • Identify customer demands and communicate operational advancements
  • Enhance profit generation while overseeing budgetary constraints
  • Ensure completion and management of profit and loss reports
  • Implement strategies to manage resources efficiently with quality and cost control
  • Enact and preserve labor and food campaign schedules
  • Maximize operational efficiency and oversee profit margins
  • Oversee food operations and labor efficiency adhering to Operational Excellence
  • Direct production, distribution, and serving of food
  • Uphold a healthy and secure environment
  • Follow all appropriate policies, regulations, and statutes
  • Arrange and sustain frameworks for purchasing, acceptance, warehousing, cooking, distribution, and menu innovation
  • Create operational forecasts and manage accounting duties
  • Supervise unit personnel in production, merchandising, quality assurance, cost containment, labor supervision, and employee development
  • Recruit and foster front-line personnel
  • Implement scheduled inventory evaluations
  • Maintain records according to ARAMARK, government, and accreditation guidelines
  • Foster relationships with client management and maintain valuable client and customer rapport
  • Participate in sales negotiations and contract discussions
  • Search for innovative solutions to increase sales and retain clients
  • Manage customer-facing areas of the restaurant
  • Devise and carry out food service schemes aligned with the client’s mission and vision.
