Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Recent experience in food service cash handling preferred
- No felony or theft convictions
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Must pass background investigation
- Must obtain and maintain a gaming license
- Ability to obtain Food Handler's card
- Ability to obtain TIPS certification
- Ability to pass cash handling training
- Ability to pass departmental tests
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must have a motivated and energetic personality
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Ability to maintain proper attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in food service point of sale cash handling preferred
- Knowledge of dining and food maintenance operations
- Knowledge of Arizona Title 4 Liquor Laws for alcohol service
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Familiarity with restaurant menu, bar items, liquors, and pricing
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Understanding of internal controls and commitment to compliance
- Ability to obtain Food Handler's card
- Ability to obtain TIPS certification
- Ability to pass cash handling training
- Ability to pass departmental testing
- Strong communication skills in basic English
- Demonstrated outstanding guest service abilities
- Ability to work under stress and multi-task in a busy environment
- High energy and motivated personality
Job Duties
- Operate the cash register and manage daily transaction records
- Balance cash register receipts, guest checks, and gratuity sheets for shifts
- Familiarize with and apply discounts offered
- Train new team members on operational procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the register area
- Communicate effectively with team members and uphold a positive work environment
- Provide customer service support as needed
- Complete assigned side work and restock work areas
- Sweep floors to ensure appearance standards
- Assist in daily restaurant operations efficiently and cost-effectively
- Demonstrate courteous and respectful interactions with guests
- Consistently apply standard service techniques
- Adhere to Arizona Title 4 Liquor Laws and company internal controls
- Serve guests promptly and courteously
- Respond to guest requests with an outgoing personality
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system proficiently
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the work area
- Monitor guests for intoxication and follow proper procedures
- Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage outlets and casino promotions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service
- Travel between casino properties as required
- Maintain proper attendance and flexibility to assume additional duties
