The available position is for a Food and Beverage Team Member located within a dynamic facility that houses bowling lanes, arcade games, karaoke rooms, billiards, darts, and ping pong tables. This full-time role supports the Food and Beverage Department by ensuring smooth operation, maintaining cleanliness, and providing an excellent customer experience. The position requires availability for closing shifts from 3 pm to 3 am with flexibility to work on weekends and holidays, allowing the team to meet peak demand times. Applicants must be at least 21 years old to work behind the bar, reflecting the responsibilities of handling alcoholic beverages and contributing to the safe and responsible service standards set by the company.
As a Food and Beverage Team Member, individuals will operate point-of-sale (POS) registers to process food and drink orders, including bar transactions when directed. The role involves preparing food and beverage items according to company policies and high-quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction. Team members are responsible for resetting and bussing the food court seating area, washing dishes, glasses, and preparation utensils, and conducting opening and closing procedures like cash till management and kitchen cleaning. Inventory management is a critical aspect, requiring attention to food, beverage, plates, cups, and utensil stock levels in compliance with established policies.
Additional duties include monitoring refrigerator and freezer temperatures, conducting restroom checks and cleaning, laundering rags, and providing prompt, polite, and friendly responses to customer requests. The role occasionally expands to managing payments and allocations for bowling lanes, facility and equipment lending for activities like karaoke and billiards, and issuing cards for arcade usage during morning hours. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a noisy and active environment, often requiring bending, stretching, twisting, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older to work on the bar
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have high mobility/flexibility in small spaces
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Availability for closing shifts from 3 pm to 3 am
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Experience in entertainment or hospitality industries is preferred but not required
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be 21 years or older to work on the bar
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Operates POS register for food and drinks including bar register when directed
- Prepares food and beverage items utilizing the policies and standards of the company
- Resets and bus the food court seating area
- Washes and dries dishes, glasses, and other cooking/food prep utensils
- Conducts all opening and closing procedures including cash tills and kitchen cleaning
- Manages food and beverage inventory by the store’s policies and procedures
- Maintains proper temperature for refrigerators and freezers
