Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one year of banquet leadership experience preferred
  • Prior restaurant or outlet experience beneficial
  • Strong service orientation and leadership skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls and inventory management
  • Compliance with local health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • One plus years of banquet leadership experience preferred
  • Previous outlet or restaurant experience is a plus
  • Strong focus on service standards
  • Restaurant opening experience is advantageous
  • Passion to cultivate a positive and collaborative workplace culture
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service

Job Duties

  • Directs and organizes the activities of the food and beverage departments including restaurant and banquets to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service
  • Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the food and beverage departments to meet daily operational needs
  • Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs
  • Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff
  • Coordinates and ensures the needs of the catering department with managers of interrelated departments
  • Organizes and orchestrates any last-minute changes to functions
