The club boasts a variety of amenities including a championship golf course, fine dining restaurants, event spaces, and social activities, making it a sought-after destination for community members and visitors alike.

Currently, River Pointe Country Club is seeking a qualified and highly organized Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to join its dynamic team. This role is integral to maintaining and elevating the club’s food and beverage operations and overall guest experience. The Assistant Manager will work closely with club leadership to provide strategic and hands-on leadership across all club operations, with a special focus on food and beverage services and events. This key position acts as the face of the club in many interactions, requiring strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary to support events and operations.

The Food & Beverage Assistant Manager will oversee various facets of food and beverage management including bars, banquets, and catering operations. Partnering with the Chef on menu development, pricing strategy, and quality control is a significant aspect of this role, ensuring that all culinary offerings meet the highest standards. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for managing budgets, cost controls, inventory, purchasing, and maintaining vendor relationships to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.

This role also requires maintaining compliance with all relevant health, safety, labor, and alcohol service regulations to safeguard both staff and patrons. The Assistant Manager is instrumental in establishing and upholding service standards that enhance the overall member experience, implementing training programs designed to elevate service, sales, and hospitality. Managing guest satisfaction by monitoring service levels, addressing feedback, and resolving any issues promptly is a vital part of the position.

Beyond direct food and beverage responsibilities, the Assistant Manager will oversee all club events including weddings, golf leagues, golf outings, and social functions. Collaborative work with the Events team on sales, planning, execution, and post-event follow-up will be key in driving event revenue through strategic marketing, creative packaging, and exceptional event delivery. This diverse and challenging role requires a proactive leader who is passionate about hospitality management and committed to fostering positive relationships with members, guests, vendors, and the Board of Directors.

Job Requirements
