The Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor role at PENN Entertainment is designed for an individual ready to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality environment. This position is crucial in overseeing the daily operations of a designated F&B outlet during assigned shifts, ensuring operational goals and profit objectives are consistently met. As a supervisor, you will manage staff scheduling, labor costs, and customer service standards while promoting an inviting, sanitary, and efficient environment for guests. The role involves active collaboration with the F&B Manager for budget preparation and adherence, cost control, compliance with gaming laws, and regulatory standards. You will also support administering policies, training team members, and enforcing safety and quality service standards. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Associates degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years of Food and Beverage experience
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to interact diplomatically with guests and staff
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Strong math skills including proficiency with rates, ratios, and percentages
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Ability to present information effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years of Food and Beverage experience
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to interact with guests and staff diplomatically
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to present information effectively to diverse groups

Job Duties

  • Supervise an F&B outlet and manage designated shift operations
  • Support and manage operational goals, monitoring performance and profit objectives
  • Create efficient schedules maintaining labor costs and staffing levels
  • Assist in departmental budget process and ensure budget compliance
  • Promote and demonstrate superior customer service and address issues promptly
  • Ensure compliance with gaming laws and food service regulations
  • Assist in cost control through inventory management
  • Support administrative duties and enforce regulatory compliance
  • Maintain confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
