Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role or hospitality setting preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices
- Ability to follow health regulations
Job Duties
- Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
- When immediate seating is unavailable, record guest names, party sizes, and issue pagers
- Provide guests with estimated wait times and keep them informed
- Page guests when their tables are ready and inquire about the number of children in their party
- Escort guests to their tables with menus and silverware
- Accommodate special seating requests whenever feasible
- Inform guests of their server's name upon seating
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
- Maintain cleanliness in the host area including floors and door glass
- Remove used tableware promptly and clear tables
- Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate with servers
- Collaborate with servers to ensure efficient seating
- Assist servers with plate removal during peak periods
- Keep front of house areas clean including floors and walkways
- Clean tabletops, chairs, and booths between seatings
- Be flexible and fill in where needed to ensure smooth operations
