Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to arrive on time and maintain positive attendance
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- Strong customer service personality and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in customer service or restaurant environment preferred
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Current Food Handlers Card or ServSafe Certificate
- Minimum six months experience as a cashier in hospitality or retail environment
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide a genuine welcome
- Demonstrate strong comprehension of the menu including recipes, allergens, and dietary restriction workarounds
- Process guest orders accurately using POS systems both in person and by telephone
- Handle cash and credit/debit card transactions while upholding register dialogue
- Follow all cash handling procedures including fraud protection and proper drawer management
- Present food to guests and circulate the dining room for service opportunities
- Pre-bus and bus tables to maintain cleanliness
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the restaurant including floors, restrooms, windows, and dining areas
- Restock ice bins and clean glassware
- Communicate regularly with back and front-of-house staff to optimize service levels
- Perform other tasks as assigned
