Job Requirements

Reliable transportation
Ability to arrive on time and maintain positive attendance
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings
Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately
Strong organizational skills
Ability to maintain cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

Strong customer service personality and interpersonal skills
Prior experience in customer service or restaurant environment preferred
Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and organizational skills
Current Food Handlers Card or ServSafe Certificate
Minimum six months experience as a cashier in hospitality or retail environment

Job Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide a genuine welcome
Demonstrate strong comprehension of the menu including recipes, allergens, and dietary restriction workarounds
Process guest orders accurately using POS systems both in person and by telephone
Handle cash and credit/debit card transactions while upholding register dialogue
Follow all cash handling procedures including fraud protection and proper drawer management
Present food to guests and circulate the dining room for service opportunities
Pre-bus and bus tables to maintain cleanliness
Maintain the overall cleanliness of the restaurant including floors, restrooms, windows, and dining areas
Restock ice bins and clean glassware
Communicate regularly with back and front-of-house staff to optimize service levels
Perform other tasks as assigned
