We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to join a popular sports-driven bar and gastropub located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience managing front of house operations in a high-volume hospitality environment
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and during major sporting events
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Basic computer literacy, including POS and scheduling software
- Ability to handle cash accurately and manage financial transactions
- Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations or willingness to become certified
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of FOH management experience in high-volume bar, restaurant, or gastropub
- Proven ability to lead teams and reduce turnover
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, scheduling, and basic inventory
- Food safety and alcohol service certifications preferred or willingness to obtain
- Availability for nights, weekends, and major local sports events
- Hands-on, guest-facing, and solution-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Lead and develop servers, bartenders, hosts, and food runners
- Run pre-shift meetings to energize the team
- Be on the floor during peak periods to resolve guest issues and ensure high-quality service
- Manage scheduling, labor costs, and floor flow
- Partner with kitchen staff to ensure ticket times, food quality, and cleanliness standards are met
- Handle cash procedures, POS reporting, comps and voids
- Drive sales through suggestive selling and event or happy hour execution
- Ensure compliance with PA liquor laws, food safety standards, and safety protocols
- Open and close the restaurant as needed
