Allister restaurant is a distinguished and vibrant establishment located in the heart of downtown Mercer Island. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Front of House Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of hospitality for which Allister is known. As a hands-on leader, the Front of House Manager will play a critical role in shaping the guest experience by actively engaging on the floor, supporting team members, and ensuring that every aspect of service exceeds expectations. Reporting directly to the owner, this leadership position requires a balance of operational excellence and genuine care for both guests and staff. The successful candidate will lead with energy, presence, and a deep commitment to fostering an environment of warmth and professionalism. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team dedicated to culinary excellence and outstanding service in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of front of house management experience in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong food and wine knowledge and passion for taking care of people
  • Excellent leadership coaching and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with Toast and MarginEdge preferred but not required
  • Ability to work nights weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Lead daily floor management including section assignments and workflow balance
  • Maintain high standards for food presentation beverage service cleanliness and guest experience
  • Actively coach and support servers host/server assistants and bartenders
  • Engage directly with guests and ensure exceptional service
  • Implement strategies to elevate guest satisfaction team engagement productivity and profitability
  • Provide coaching and guidance to front of house staff
  • Create schedules and manage team productivity
  • Foster a positive and fun work environment
