The Server Assistant role at Luna's Tacos & Tequila is integral to maintaining excellent guest service and smooth restaurant operations. The position offers a starting wage of $15.16 per hour plus tips and is ideal for those eager to develop skills in hospitality and potentially move into higher roles within the company. Server Assistants are cross-trained across all front-of-house systems to ensure versatility and flexibility in their duties. Responsibilities include warmly greeting guests, escorting them to their tables, assisting servers by delivering food and beverages, and managing the cleanliness and organization of the dining and host areas. Assistants also handle reservations and waitlists, assist with takeout orders, and maintain a sanitary environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. The role demands professionalism, teamwork, clear communication, trustworthiness, and punctuality.

In addition to excellent customer interaction and service, Server Assistants are expected to support the team during busy service hours, participate in community events and catering outside restaurant locations, and continuously update their knowledge through staff training opportunities. This position requires the physical ability to navigate a two-story establishment, maneuver in tight spaces, stand continuously throughout the shift, and lift or carry items ranging from 20 to 100 pounds occasionally.
