Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in floor care or custodial services preferred
- ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- ability to wear required uniforms and personal protective equipment
- reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred
- knowledge of floor care equipment and proper usage
- ability to read and write for communication and simple math calculations

- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers
- anticipates and responds to customer needs
- uses proper procedures on hard floor care such as stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing in adherence to hard surface floor maintenance principles
- uses the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming
- operates industrial floor care equipment as assigned and according to schedule for cleaning large floor surfaces
- performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
- properly processes municipal solid waste, infectious, and pharmaceutical waste
- removes trash, recyclables, soiled linen, used supplies and equipment from assigned work area
- disinfects receptacles and carts as needed
- follows all Aramark safety, sanitation, and infection control standards and procedures
- adheres to Aramark appearance standards and always wears the required uniform and personal protective equipment while working
