The Floor Technician role at Aramark is focused on maintaining and restoring floor surfaces in various client locations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This role involves operating industrial floor care equipment and performing specialized floor treatments such as stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing on hard surface floors. Additionally, the technician is responsible for carpet care procedures including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming. An important aspect of the job is the proper processing of municipal solid waste, infectious waste, and pharmaceutical waste in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

The Floor Technician must maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude, working efficiently with clients, customers, and coworkers. They are expected to adhere strictly to Aramark's appearance standards, including wearing the required uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to health and safety guidelines, and the ability to respond proactively to customer needs. Due to the physical nature of the job, candidates should be prepared for tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
