The hospital's Environmental Services Department plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that promotes healing and reduces health risks such as hospital-acquired infections. As part of this department, the Housekeeping Associate is a vital member of the team, focused on the cleanliness and sanitation of patient care areas, offices, and communal spaces. This full-time position involves working a 6:00 pm to 2:30 am shift from Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends every other week.

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for a wide range of cleaning duties, including disinfecting patient rooms and bathrooms, managing trash and linen removal, and ensuring floors and surfaces are spotless. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay on one’s feet throughout the shift. Moreover, this position requires an individual with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while being a cooperative team player.

Candidates who join Saint Luke's will benefit from a competitive starting wage of $17.50 per hour, with additional evening and weekend shift differentials.
