Job Requirements

completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion
responsible beverage server certification if assigned duties include selling or serving alcohol
good public speaking skills
ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately
ability to identify problems and gather relevant data
effective communication skills
ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear
occasional ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
ability to lift up to 60 pounds
close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception and ability to adjust focus
commitment to work in a smoke-free environment

Job Duties

regular and consistent attendance
handling of emergency situations when called upon to do so
general cleaning duties
compliance with company dress code
operating POS system including accurate handling of cash drawer and payment methods
upselling and suggestive selling of premium viewing experiences
promoting loyalty programs
ensuring tickets are sold according to MPAA rating and company policy
responding to guest inquiries phone calls and questions
operating and cleaning concession equipment
complying with food safety laws
ensuring current alcohol certification when applicable
tearing tickets and collecting stubs
directing patrons to auditoriums
inspecting backpacks and packages
managing crowd control
enforcing MPAA rating system
conducting theater inspections for picture, sound quality and safety
reporting problems to management
performing in-auditorium concession sales
cleaning auditoriums and maintaining restrooms and lobby areas
monitoring vending equipment
assisting with opening and closing duties as assigned
