We are currently seeking a Full-Time Floor Manager to join our management team. With a competitive salary package, the Floor Manager role is critical in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant at our Newport News location. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving planned sales goals and budgeted profit levels by implementing and upholding company policies, procedures, and performance standards. This leadership position requires a hands-on approach in motivating and directing hourly associates to deliver exceptional product quality and guest experiences continuously. The Floor Manager plays a vital role in maintaining the restaurant's brand integrity by ensuring a sanitary, safe, and respectful work environment alongside managing operational costs effectively.

  • Some college education preferred
  • Some restaurant managerial experience preferred
  • Certified trainer and shift lead experience may substitute for management experience for internal candidates
  • Extensive standing without breaks
  • Exposure to heat, smoke, and cold
  • Ability to reach heights of approximately six feet and depths of approximately three feet
  • High mobility and flexibility to work for periods up to eight hours or longer
  • Ability to work irregular hours under heavy pressure and stress during busy times
  • Physical ability to bend, reach and walk
  • Effective communication with guests
  • Able to carry trays weighing approximately 20 pounds over distances up to 60 feet
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Assist in managing restaurant operations for the assigned location

  • Manage operational and product costs effectively
