Job Requirements
- 21 years of age
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any other certification or license as required by law or policy
- Five years of experience as a housekeeper or in a hotel operations role
- Two years of supervisory experience at a 4-star property preferred
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, LMS and HOTSOS preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations including safety standards and evacuation procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other team members of different backgrounds and levels of experience
- Must be able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Supervise and manage 2 to 3 floors of guest suites (approximately 200/300 suites)
- Supervise 9 to 27 housekeepers daily
- Supervise 2/3 floor attendants daily
- Update all facilities issues in HotSOS (using the IVR system)
- Assign workload, inspect suites and rooming area
- Supervise, train, and inspect the performance of assigned housekeepers, evening shift housekeepers and floor attendants, ensuring all procedures meet hotel standards
- Assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests
- Assist in the inspections and evaluation of housekeepers and floor attendants job performance
- Conduct 7 written inspections daily
- Conduct up to 25 visual inspections daily
- Issue discipline to team members (up to CDD)
- Inventory all supplies submitting to assistant director of finance
- Focus on achieving department goals or objectives using available resources (staff and budgetary)
- Successfully manage a 5-star and 5-diamond housekeeping team
- Develop staff skills to enhance department effectiveness
- Manage resources to eliminate excess costs or unnecessary expenditures
- Monitor team performance in all phases of service and job functions
- Rectify deficiencies
- Manage staff and organize department functions in accordance with company guidelines
- Ensure safety is an essential function of the job
- Maintain consistent and regular attendance
- Perform other related duties as assigned
