Job Requirements

  • Successful background check
  • flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • ability to stand for up to 4 hours
  • attendance and adherence to theatre policies
  • punctuality and appropriate uniform compliance

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent
  • prior customer service experience
  • ability to maintain CPR/First Aid/AED/BBP certifications
  • exemplary customer service skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to remain calm and resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Supervises Usher Captains and volunteer staff during events
  • arrives to shifts on time in designated uniform
  • communicates with Front of House Operations Manager and Director of Operations
  • serves as customer service liaison
  • supports special event needs onsite
  • reviews and communicates event and house information to staff
  • provides support for facility opening preparations
  • communicates and implements house opening and evacuation procedures
  • protects safety and security of patrons and facility
  • handles accident situations and completes incident reports
  • reports building problems
  • clears and closes assigned locations
  • files appropriate event documentation
  • stays informed on policy changes
  • responsible for peer training
  • provides minimum 50 percent availability for shifts
  • performs other job-related duties as assigned
