- at least one year of experience with industrial floor care equipment or related experience
- at least one year of experience in a supervisory role
- valid driver’s license

- knowledge of basic cleaning techniques
- knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and maintenance
- ability to follow instructions and perform repetitive manual work
- ability to use cleansers and other agents to clean floors and furniture
- ability to use housekeeping cleaning supplies and equipment
- ability to work independently without close supervision
- ability to follow oral and/or written instructions
- ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize assignments
- ability to perform repetitive manual work
- ability to do required lifting up to 50 lbs
Job Duties
- assist with daily coordinator tasks
- supervise a small floor care specialist team
- train team members on floor care procedures
- strip, wax, and seal floors
- clean carpets using a carpet extractor
- perform general cleaning of office buildings, classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, auditoriums, and common areas
- operate floor buffer
- manage snow and ice removal during winter months
- maintain collegial and harmonious working relationships
- ensure reliable and non-disruptive attendance
