Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent culinary experience
  • minimum three years of culinary management experience
  • proficiency in inventory management and purchasing
  • understanding of food safety regulations
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to manage cost controls and budgets
  • passion for sustainable food practices
  • availability to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining settings or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
  • extensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • experience with exposition cooking
  • knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Full culinary management of food service operation including inventory, ordering and receiving
  • knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
  • proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
  • possess a passion for sustainability
  • monitor and maintain sanitation standards
  • staff training and development
  • ensure quality food production and presentation
