Job Requirements
- 2 years electronics or computer network training preferred
- 1 year experience as flight simulator technician or combination of similar experience and education
- ability to repair avionics, computers, electronics, visual, electric motion or related technical systems to the component level
- ability to read drawings and schematics of electronics, electrical, hydraulics and mechanical systems
- ability to complete system-level troubleshooting with software programs and utilities
- demonstrated experience completing assigned tasks on time and with an emphasis on accuracy
- proficiency in the use of various test equipment including multimeters, network cable testers and torque wrenches
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- US citizenship required
- ability to lift at least 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend and stand for long periods and work in cramped spaces
- willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends
- current work authorization required

- Associate's degree in electronics, computer science, engineering, aviation or related discipline preferred

Job Duties
- Assist flight crews, other simulator technicians and engineers in performance of their duties
- support the logistic operations including part-ordering, inventory, and stocking
- prepare the flight training equipment for daily operation, such as performing the visual alignment and the pre/post flights
- manage customized hardware and software configuration requests from customers, including visual model and navigation data software updates and alignments
- demonstrate the ability and passion to learn and adapt to changing technologies
- troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical components, avionics and computer hardware and software
- monitor processes and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement
- ensure simulator(s) performance and condition are in compliance with governmental regulations
- run quality test guides (QTGs)
- utilize QMS to record and track maintenance activities
- assure customers receive outstanding and timely service, make decisions on the best course of action to return the training device back to safe operations
