Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (ged)
- One to three years related experience and/or training
- Aviation experience preferred
- Familiarity with office equipment such as fax/copier/scanner
- Proficiency in proofreading, spelling, grammar and phone communication
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (fars) preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in microsoft word, access, excel, and outlook
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Aviation experience is preferred
- Familiarity with office equipment such as fax/copier/scanner
- Highly proficient proofreading, spelling, grammatical and phone skills
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) preferred
- Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task and meet daily, monthly and quarterly deadlines
- Ability to discreetly handle confidential information
- Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude in dealing with both internal and external customers
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Access, Excel and Outlook
Job Duties
- Maintain pilot records
- Verify compliance with current Federal Aviation Regulations
- Develop pilot recordkeeping policies in accordance with federal guidelines
- Data entries for check rides, training and new hire pilots
- Maintain and modify pilot database to meet training needs
- Assure timely tracking and notification for medical certificates
- Create new hire files for pilots and verify accuracy of all paperwork, taking action to correct, when needed
- Create database reports for Regional Aviation Manager (RAD), Regional Aviation Manager (RAM), and Area Manager
- Perform monthly audit of 25 percent of the pilot’s records and purge outdated records
- Maintain Daily Flight Log/Load Manifest sheets (DFL’s)
- returning those with errors to the appropriate base for corrections
- Track and file pilots’ monthly duties
- Other duties as assigned
