Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years ALS experience for flight paramedics
  • Minimum three years clinical experience for EMT-P/LP
  • Current Texas certification or licensure as a paramedic
  • Current CPR certification
  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • NRP certification
  • Stable certification within 90 days of employment
  • TNCC audit within six months of employment
  • Advanced certification (FP-C, CCEMTP, C-NPT or TP-C) within two years
  • Emergency Vehicle Operators Course during orientation
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and auto liability insurance

Job Duties

  • Provide care and transportation to pediatric and neonatal patients via ground ambulance, helicopter, and fixed wing aircraft
  • Maintain readiness of equipment and ensure availability of supplies
  • Complete related paperwork and documentation accurately
  • Expand knowledge of pediatric and neonatal patients and apply it in transport environment
  • Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and other healthcare professionals
  • Adhere to safety and regulatory standards during transportation
