Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Five years paramedic experience
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and Colorado EMT-Paramedic certification at hire
- Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C)
- Valid driver's license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) healthcare provider
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- One of Transport Professional Advanced Trauma Course (TPATC), Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and decisive judgment skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Job Qualifications

- Minimum five years paramedic experience
Job Duties
- Provide patient care during all phases of transport from initial contact to handoff at receiving facility
- Document patient assessment, evaluation, interventions, and response within established timeframe
- Participate in pre and post transport briefings
- Ensure equipment is functional and complete vehicle and equipment checklists
- Collaborate across disciplines to improve patient outcomes
- Provide safety and clinical education to referring facilities and EMS agencies
- Actively participate in safety, education, quality, and outreach activities
