Job Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years experience within an active EMS system providing Advanced Life Support
- Current NJ Paramedic certification or eligible for reciprocity
- Current BLS, ACLS, PHTLS, and PALS certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be physically able to work in all weather and environmental conditions
- Must be able to lift and move patients in all circumstances
- Must be able to perform all duties consistent with providing ALS and/or BLS in pre-hospital or interfacility environment by air or ground
- Current state issued driver's license with clean driving record
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates or Bachelor degree preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years experience within an active EMS system providing Advanced Life Support
- Previous flight and/or transport experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current NJ Paramedic certification or eligible for reciprocity
- NREMT-P preferred
- CCEMT-P preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, PHTLS, and PALS certifications
- ICS-100 or equivalent and IS-700 or equivalent upon hire
- ICS-200 or equivalent and IS-800 or equivalent within first year of employment
- FP-C certification preferred and must be obtained within 1 year of hire
- Current state issued driver's license with clean driving record
Job Duties
- Facilitate and coordinate safe and comprehensive patient care in pre-hospital settings and during inter-facility transports
- Apply specialized emergency rotor wing transport principles and techniques
- Participate in procedure and policy development
- Engage in performance improvement activities
- Conduct clinical competency assessments
- Participate in professional and community outreach activities
- Support organizational goals through teamwork, safety-oriented activities, and quality customer service
