- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
- Five or more years of experience in aviation operations preferred
- Federal Aviation Administration Dispatchers Certification preferred
- Proficient in flight operations software tools preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, iPhone/iPad and other required devices preferred
Job Duties
- Identify and select appropriate aircraft supporting aviation operations in all regions
- Analyze schedules and determine most cost-effective procurement criteria while meeting executive and mission requirements
- Ensure aviation operations have required resources to support travel to new regions
- Review and assess operational requirements including runway, weight and balance, hangar space, de-icing, fuel, curfews, and FBO/facility amenities
- Analyze flight plan routes, fatigue levels, crew, and aircraft performance capabilities to meet mission timelines
- Conduct post-flight reconciliation
- Monitor and coordinate with governmental, security, and support agencies to prevent impediments to timelines
- Promote a safety-oriented culture using Vector Safety Management System tools
- Assist Aviation Operations Team during emergency response situations
- Develop and coordinate vendor, contractor, and government relationships to meet budget and contract requirements
- Execute company minimum criteria for third-party aircraft and crews
- Arrange transportation and accommodations for passengers and crew
- Manage administrative duties such as maintaining records, airport and security badges, and event support
