Job Qualifications
- FAA Aircraft Dispatcher License preferred
- experience in part 135 aviation operations
- strong customer service skills
- knowledge of flight planning, weather analysis, and regulatory compliance
- ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with flight operations software and third-party safety platforms like Wyvern and ARG/US
- familiarity with FAA regulations 14 CFR 135.263, 135.267
- attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to work collaboratively with various departments and teams
Job Duties
- Maintain a valid FAA Aircraft Dispatcher License
- operate under delegated Tier 1 limited authority for operational control from the Director of Operations
- flight locate all active trips in accordance with the GOM and SOPs
- audit pilot trip paperwork daily for compliance and accuracy
- monitor all flights for weather, NOTAMs, and delays using applicable regulatory and weather sources
- retain flight records in accordance with 14 CFR 135.63(c-d)
- assist the PIC in flight release and operations by providing all relevant information especially during irregular operations such as mechanical, weather, crew legalities
- conduct third-party safety checks using Wyvern and ARG/US
- review operational restrictions for each flight and coordinate with the PIC to determine parameters for safe operation or changes including cancellations or re-releases
- brief crewmembers on assignments and update trip sheets as changes occur post-quotation or trip initiation
- monitor maintenance and mechanical delays at origin, destination, and intermediate stops
- perform passenger and crew vetting in compliance with AOSSP
- obtain necessary Landing Permits and Prior Permission Requests (PPRs)
- secure international flight clearances and permissions
- track and log landing fees for billing and quoting accuracy
- serve as the primary client point of contact for passenger information such as passports, catering, ground transportation, and itinerary changes
- assign qualified PICs, SICs, and Cabin Attendants to trips
- ensure crewmember qualifications and verify compliance with duty/rest/flight time limits as per 14 CFR 135.263, 135.267, and 135.267(c)
- coordinate closely with Crew Planning to ensure trip readiness
- explain and apply scheduling rules in compliance with FAA regulations and the FRMP
- respond to client inquiries and trip requests promptly and professionally
- provide timely updates and trip confirmations to brokers and clients
- anticipate client needs, offer proactive solutions or enhancements, and deliver outstanding service under pressure
- maintain professional relationships with brokers, VIPs, and high-end clients handling sensitive situations with discretion
- verify trip expenses and billing accuracy
- perform other duties as assigned by the Director of SOC
