Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • active pursuit of undergraduate degree highly sought
  • current Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate
  • FAA Class III medical certification required
  • ability to travel overnight or for night flights up to 50 percent
  • capacity to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • capability to maneuver aircraft for extended periods in various weather conditions
  • willingness to perform flight operations, dispatch, and line crew duties
  • excellent communication and coordination skills
  • ability to maintain accurate training documentation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • active pursuit of undergraduate degree preferred
  • Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certification required
  • Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) certification preferred
  • Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) certification preferred
  • FAA Class III medical required
  • FAA Class II medical preferred
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • experience in flight instruction and training management

Job Duties

  • Schedule and coordinate student flights for training progress
  • manage assigned students and perform flight and ground instruction
  • maintain training records and complete required documentation
  • sustain high-quality instruction aligned with school and FAA standards
  • attend mandatory standardization training and perform Solo Monitor duties
  • prepare course outlines, study materials, and instructional procedures
  • lecture on aircraft construction, regulations, and navigation
  • demonstrate use of synthetic instrument trainers
  • observe and evaluate student flight performance
  • conduct written, oral, and performance tests
  • submit daily progress reports
  • prepare students for evaluations with effective feedback
  • accomplish scheduling and reporting within allocated time
  • perform dispatch and line crew line operations duties
