Job Requirements
- minimum 3 years or 4,000 hours exp as paramedic in 911 ALS or critical care transport or 4,000 hours of in-hospital critical care experience
- high school diploma or GED
- colorado state paramedic certification
- national registry as paramedic
- maintain currency in all certifications required by CAMTS
- basic life support and advanced cardiac life support through the American Heart Association
- pediatric advanced life support within 6 months of hire
- TPATC or ATLS within 12 months of hire
- neonatal resuscitation program within 12 months of hire
- FP-C within 2 years of hire
- medium work physical capacity lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- assist in meeting the physical and emotional needs of critically ill and injured patients
- promote safe and efficient operation of the Flight for Life program
- provide advanced life support and critical care during patient transport
- collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure continuity of care
- operate and maintain specialized medical equipment during transport
- participate in search and rescue operations and specialized services including avalanche deployment
- uphold all certifications and standards required by CAMTS and other governing bodies
