Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in flight operations or aviation industry
- knowledge of relevant FAA regulations
- proficiency with flight planning and tracking software
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work shifts and nights
- strong problem-solving abilities
Job Qualifications

- experience in aviation operations or flight following
- knowledge of FAA regulations including 14 CFR 121
- proficiency with AERODATA, NavBlue or similar flight planning software
- strong communication and coordination skills
- ability to multitask and work under pressure

- familiarity with air traffic control procedures
- understanding of aircraft performance and operational limitations
Job Duties
- Obtaining the weather, present conditions, and future trends affecting operation areas
- checking the System Operations Control Turnover Log and company manuals for current instructions and policies
- checking field conditions and NOTAMs for en route and terminal facilities
- loading required information to AERODATA for required TLR
- discussing operational plans with the relieved Flight Follower
- reviewing MEL/CDL databases against Maintenance form 21A-MF-051
- verifying aircraft specific listings on CFP against MEL/CDL listings
- requesting and verifying CFPs accuracy and necessary attachments
- verifying proper fuel loads and coordinating fuel requirements with personnel/vendors
- verifying flights planned within structural and performance limitations
- ensuring RVSM airspace flights meet authorization and equipment requirements
- recording flight releases after PIC approval
- monitoring flight progress
- maintaining qualification in company flight release procedures, manuals, and regulations
- coordinating crewmember availability
- coordinating with Customer Representatives and Ground Service for schedule changes
- coordinating with Maintenance Control on aircraft availability and status
- coordinating landing rights, overfly permits, ground support equipment, crew lodging and travel arrangements
- facilitating on-time flight operations via station coordination
- logging required information in the Daily Log
- maintaining Flight Tracking Report
- issuing information on delays, equipment changes, rerouting, cancellations
- notifying agencies of irregularities or hazardous meteorological conditions
- evaluating airports for suitability and station facilities using prescribed procedures
