Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- completion of certified flight attendant training program such as FACTS or Flight Safety preferred
- current first aid certification
- CPR and AED certification required
- proven ability to handle food safely
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- reliable transportation
- ability to purchase aircraft stock prior to trips
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to travel internationally
- ability to operate aircraft entertainment and communication systems
- attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Completion of FACTS, Flight Safety or equivalent FAA certified training program preferred
- knowledge and experience with safe food handling procedures
- certified in first aid
- certified to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- proficiency with all aircraft emergency equipment and knowledge of emergency procedures
- knowledge of FAA and customs regulations
- strong culinary or fine dining experience preferred
- ability to work effectively as part of a crew
- flexibility to work varied and changing schedules including weekends and holidays
- ability to travel internationally as needed
Job Duties
- Responsible for the welfare and safety of passengers on board the aircraft
- greets all passengers and confirms the passenger manifest is correct
- advance planning for trip preparation
- responsible for the purchase and stocking of cabin supplies and catering from bakeries, markets and restaurants
- proper cleaning and laundering of all cabin linens and serving ware
- coordination with other crew members and scheduling personnel to review trip details
- represents the company in a professional manner at all times while performing duties of the position and dealing with support personnel
