Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least two years of customer service experience
- Must be 20 years of age by the date of the first interview
- Polished interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
- Willingness to serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to handle food allergens such as peanuts, shellfish, beef, and pork
- Ability to work with animals and around allergens and products
- Compliance with dress code including tattoo and piercing restrictions
- Wingspan of approximately 55 inches or greater
- Ability to sit in jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modification
- No visible multiple piercings while in uniform
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and regulations
- Effective communication skills in English, including emergency commands
- Ability to work under stress and handle time-sensitive situations
- Capable of quick decision making
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds and push carts over 250 pounds
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, crouch, squat, climb, and kneel
- Clear vision and hearing with or without corrective lenses
- Willingness to work varied and extended schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Travel up to 100% including overnight
- Willingness to relocate based on company needs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least two years of customer service experience
- Previous flight attendant experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and react quickly in emergency situations
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and passengers
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical procedures and government regulations
- Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting and operating emergency equipment
- Ability to comply with company dress code and grooming standards
Job Duties
- Perform all regulatory and assigned cabin duties with constant attention to guests while providing a safe and comfortable onboard experience
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures and the use of all emergency equipment on board the aircraft
- Operate all emergency exits and aircraft equipment using necessary movements and force up to 70 pounds
- Provide food and beverages to passengers, which requires pushing and pulling movable carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds
- Assist passengers in stowing carry-on baggage weighing up to 35 pounds
- Maintain a neat and orderly cabin environment
- Contribute to reliable and on-time operations by working with crewmembers to meet report, departure, and minimum turn times
- Perform inflight sales and promotional duties as assigned
- Assist other customer service staff as needed with passenger handling or other duties
- Maintain reliable and prompt attendance according to company policies
- Present a professional image in conduct and appearance, including adherence to uniform dress code
- Comply with associate Rules of Conduct as outlined in manuals
- Maintain currency of inflight guides and manuals
- Foster the company core values and culture throughout the work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned or required
