Job Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to report to work at assigned base within two hours (2.5 hours for NYC bases)
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Fluent English speaking, reading, writing, and understanding
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Possess and maintain a valid passport and travel documents
  • Meet established standards, policies, laws and Federal Aviation Administration regulations
  • No tattoos on hands or fingers
  • Ability to cover non-hand/finger tattoos
  • No more than two pairs of earrings in earlobes and one nose piercing on side only
  • Candidate height must not exceed 5 foot 11 inches without shoes
  • Ability to reach minimum 6 foot 3 inches overhead without shoes
  • Ability to open aircraft doors weighing up to 45 pounds and move beverage carts
  • Ability to sit in jumpseat with proper seatbelt and shoulder harness
  • Ability to hear and respond in high background noise
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and manage allergens
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and comply with uniform requirements
  • Ability to use computers and mobile devices
  • Ability to complete four weeks of initial training and on-the-job evaluation

Job Qualifications

  • Fluent English speaking, reading, writing, and understanding
  • Minimum age of 21 years

  • Meet Federal Aviation Administration regulations and standards
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • At least one year of customer service experience
  • Maintain personal decorum, professional conduct, and appearance
  • Comply with Endeavor's flight attendant style requirements
  • No tattoos on hands or fingers
  • Ability to cover non-hand/finger tattoos
  • Limited earrings and nose piercings per policy
  • Ability to successfully complete four weeks of initial flight attendant training and on-the-job evaluation
  • Familiarity with mobile handheld devices

Job Duties

  • Ensure the safety and comfort of customers by providing excellent service on aircraft
  • Project and maintain a positive attitude and composure at all times
  • Perform work activities in accordance with established standards, policies, laws, and Federal Aviation Administration regulations
  • Respond effectively during emergency situations including providing medical assistance such as CPR and first aid
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages, processing payments for purchased items
  • Provide customer assistance with lifting, transporting, and stowing luggage
  • Answer customer questions and assist individuals needing special services such as unaccompanied minors and elderly passengers
  • Communicate verbally via public address announcements, safety demonstrations, and informational updates
  • Ensure compliance with aircraft policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Work independently and in a team to complete tasks
  • Manage time effectively to ensure punctuality and meet work assignments
  • Maintain professional appearance and comply with uniform standards
  • Use computers and mobile handheld devices to communicate and complete work
  • Adapt to changing work conditions including schedule adjustments
  • Complete paperwork and detailed incident reports as needed
