Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least two years of customer service experience
- Must be at least 20 years old by the first interview date
- Must possess polished interpersonal skills with positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
- Must be willing to serve alcoholic beverages
- Must be able and willing to handle meals containing allergens such as shellfish, peanuts, beef, and pork
- Able to work with animals and allergens
- Tattoos not permitted on face, neck, or hands while in uniform
- Must have a wingspan of approximately 55 inches or greater
- Must be able to sit in jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modification
- No multiple visible piercings while in uniform
- Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and regulations
- Ability to respond effectively to management, crew, passengers, and public inquiries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment handling stress
- Ability to interpret multiple instructions in various formats
- Must remain calm and react quickly in emergency scenarios
- Must make day to day operational decisions with sound judgment
- Physical strength to operate emergency equipment up to 70 pounds
- Ability to lift objects above shoulders up to 35 pounds
- Ability to push and pull carts over 250 pounds
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods including turbulence
- Ability to stoop, crouch, squat, climb, and kneel
- Ability to see clearly with corrective lenses
- Ability to hear verbal communications over ambient noise
- Ability to work extended duty periods on sequential days
- Willingness to work varied shifts including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Travel up to 100 percent of the time
- Willing to relocate based on operational needs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least two years of customer service experience
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and safety compliance
- Ability to communicate effectively in English including during emergencies
- Ability to remain calm and react quickly in emergency situations
- Willingness to work in a time-sensitive and stressful environment
- Ability to present a professional image consistent with dress code
- Ability to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and crew
- Previous flight attendant experience preferred
- Additional customer service experience in aviation preferred
Job Duties
- Perform all regulatory and assigned cabin duties with constant attention to guests providing a safe and comfortable onboard experience
- Maintain thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and emergency equipment on board
- Operate emergency exits and aircraft equipment using necessary movements and force up to 70 pounds
- Provide food and beverages to passengers including pushing and pulling service carts over 250 pounds
- Assist passengers in stowing carry-on baggage up to 35 pounds
- Maintain a neat and orderly cabin environment
- Contribute to a reliable and on-time operation by working with crewmembers to meet report times, departure times, and turn times
- Perform inflight sales and promotional duties
- Assist other customer service staff as needed
- Maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Present a professional image consistent with company uniform and dress code
- Comply with associate rules of conduct and maintain currency of inflight guides and manuals
- Foster company core values and culture
- Perform additional duties as assigned
