Job Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to report to work at assigned base within two hours (2.5 hours for NYC bases)
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently
  • Meet minimum age requirement of 21 years
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Possess and maintain a valid passport and travel documents to enter and exit Endeavor Air destinations
  • Meet established standards, policies, laws and FAA regulations
  • Ability to maintain professional conduct and personal appearance
  • No tattoos on hands or fingers
  • Ability to cover non-hand/finger tattoos with make-up or clothing
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to complete four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training
  • Successfully complete Initial Operating Experience
  • Familiarity with mobile handheld devices
  • Candidate height must not exceed 5 feet 11.5 inches without shoes
  • Ability to reach at least 6 feet 3 inches overhead
  • Ability to open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 45 pounds
  • Ability to push, pull or move a beverage cart requiring about 32 pounds of force
  • Ability to hear and respond in noisy environments
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and manage exposure to allergens
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods
  • Ability to maintain punctuality and flexibility

Job Qualifications

  • Meet established standards, policies, laws and regulations including Federal Aviation Administration Regulations
  • Exceptional customer service skills and abilities
  • At least one year of customer service experience
  • Ability to maintain a high level of personal decorum, professional conduct and personal appearance
  • Ability to comply with Endeavor's Flight Attendant Style Requirements
  • No tattoos on hands or fingers
  • Ability to cover non-hand/finger tattoos with make-up or clothing
  • No more than two pairs of earrings in the earlobes, one nose piercing may be worn on the side of the nose only
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to successfully complete four weeks of Flight Attendant Initial Training
  • Successfully complete the Initial Operating Experience following graduation from Initial Training
  • Familiarity with mobile handheld devices

Job Duties

  • Ensure the safety and comfort of customers by providing every customer with the very best service on our aircraft
  • Project and maintain a positive attitude and composure at all times
  • Perform all work activities in accordance with established standards, policies, laws, and regulations, including Federal Aviation Administration regulations
  • Respond effectively during emergency situations and provide emergency medical assistance such as performing CPR and basic first aid
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as receive and process payments for purchased items
  • Provide customer service assistance such as lifting, transporting and stowing luggage into overhead bins or storage areas
  • Answer customers’ questions and provide assistance when necessary, particularly to individuals needing special assistance such as unaccompanied minors, individuals with special needs, and the elderly
  • Effectively communicate verbally while making public address announcements, performing safety demonstrations, and providing instructions and timely informational updates
  • Ensure the aircraft and customers are in full compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and safety guidance
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to accomplish work tasks
  • Work in confined spaces with exposure to allergens and various substances, managing allergies in accordance with onboard service standards
  • Maintain professional appearance and compliance with uniform and style requirements at all times
  • Manage time to complete required work assignments and ensure overall punctuality
  • Adjust work activities to adapt to changing work conditions, such as scheduling changes
  • Use computers and basic programs like Microsoft Outlook and Word to receive information, communicate with others, and complete work tasks
  • Communicate in writing to complete paperwork and detailed reports regarding incidents and discrepancies
