Job Requirements

high school diploma or ged
minimum of two years of customer service experience
must be 20 years of age by date of first interview
willingness to serve alcoholic beverages
ability to work with animals and around allergens
wingspan approximately 55 inches or greater
ability to sit in flight attendant jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modifications
must not have multiple visible piercings while in uniform
ability to read analyze and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management crew passengers and general public
ability to speak and be understood in english including shouted verbal commands during emergencies
ability to handle stress and work in a time-sensitive environment
capable of interpreting various instructions in written oral diagram or schedule form
ability to remain calm think and react in emergencies
physical strength to reach and operate emergency equipment and exits using movements and force up to 70 pounds
capable of lifting objects above shoulders up to 35 pounds
able to push and pull moveable carts weighing over 250 pounds
able to walk and stand for extended periods sometimes with turbulence
must be able to stoop crouch squat climb and kneel
able to see clearly at 20 feet or more with corrective lenses or contacts
able to hear verbal communications in person and over airplane communication systems with ambient noise
must be able to sit in assigned jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modifications
able to move about aircraft quickly and freely in confined environment
able to work extended duty periods on sequential days
willing to work varied schedules including early mornings nights overnights and weekends
willing to relocate based on company operational needs

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or ged
minimum of two years of customer service experience
polished interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
willingness to serve alcoholic beverages
ability to serve and handle peanuts meals containing shellfish seafood beef and pork
ability to work with animals and around other allergens and products
wingspan of approximately 55 inches or greater
ability to sit in the flight attendant jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without extender or other modification
ability to read analyze and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
effective verbal communication skills in english including emergency shouted commands
ability to remain calm think and react quickly in emergency situations

Job Duties

perform all regulatory and assigned cabin duties prioritizing guest safety and comfort
maintain thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and operate all emergency equipment including emergency exits using necessary movements and force up to 70 pounds
provide food and beverage service pushing and pulling moveable carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds
assist passengers with stowing carry-on baggage weighing up to 35 pounds
maintain a neat and orderly cabin environment
collaborate with crewmembers to ensure reliable and on-time operations adhering to report departure and turn times
perform inflight sales and promotional duties as assigned
