Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least two years of customer service experience
  • Must be 20 years of age by the date of the first interview
  • Must possess polished interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
  • Must be willing to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Must be able and willing to serve meals containing shellfish, seafood, beef, and pork
  • Able to work with animals and allergens
  • No visible tattoos on face, neck, or hands while in uniform
  • Wingspan of approximately 55 inches or greater
  • Must fit in Flight Attendant jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness without modification
  • No multiple visible piercings while in uniform
  • Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and regulations
  • Ability to handle stress and meet deadlines
  • Ability to remain calm and react quickly in emergency situations
  • Must be physically capable of lifting up to 70 pounds and pushing carts over 250 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to stoop, crouch, squat, climb and kneel
  • Able to work extended duty periods on sequential days
  • Willing to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, overnight, and holidays
  • Travel up to 100 percent of the time, including relocation if necessary

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least two years of customer service experience
  • Additional years of customer service experience preferably in an aviation environment
  • Previous Flight Attendant experience
  • Polished interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
  • Effective communication skills with management, crew, passengers, and the public
  • Ability to speak and be understood in English, including emergency commands
  • Ability to work under stress and remain calm in emergency situations
  • Ability to make day-to-day operational decisions
  • Ability to control personal and emotional responses under stress

Job Duties

  • Performs all regulatory and assigned cabin duties with constant attention to guests while providing a safe and comfortable onboard experience
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures and the use of all emergency equipment on board the aircraft
  • Operates all emergency exits and aircraft equipment using necessary movements and force up to 70 pounds
  • Provides food and beverages to passengers, pushing and pulling moveable carts weighing over 250 pounds
  • Assists passengers in stowing carry-on baggage weighing up to 35 pounds
  • Maintains a neat and orderly cabin environment
  • Works with other crewmembers to meet report times, departure times, and minimum turn times
  • Performs inflight sales and promotional duties
  • Assists other Customer Service staff as needed with passenger handling or other duties
  • Maintains reliable and prompt attendance according to Company policies
  • Presents a professional image in conduct and appearance, adhering to the Company uniform dress code
  • Complies with associate Rules of Conduct as outlined in manuals
  • Maintains currency of Inflight guides and manuals
  • Fosters the Companys core values and culture throughout the work environment
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or required
