Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Fluent in English
  • Successful completion of company and FAA-required training
  • Vision corrected to 20/20
  • Two years customer service experience or equivalent
  • Willing to relocate to Houston, TX or Miami, FL
  • Ability to operate emergency exits and equipment
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and push heavy beverage carts
  • Reach 70 inches overhead without shoes
  • Ability to stand long periods
  • Able to be away from home up to 21 days
  • Valid passport with unrestricted travel
  • Ability to obtain visas and immunizations
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Pass background check and drug test
  • At least 21 years old at application

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma
  • Ability to fluently read, speak, write, and understand the English language
  • Successful completion of in-flight training program including initial and annual continuing education
  • Vision corrected to 20/20
  • Minimum two years of customer service experience or equivalent
  • Willingness to relocate to Houston, TX (IAH) or Miami, FL (MIA)
  • Ability to operate onboard emergency exits and equipment
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and push beverage carts weighing 250 pounds or more
  • Ability to reach overhead 70 inches without shoes
  • Ability to stand for extended periods with limited rest
  • Ability to be away from home for up to 21 days consecutively and work weekends and holidays
  • Possession of a valid passport with unrestricted travel ability
  • Ability to obtain required visas, permits, and immunizations
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass a 10-year background check, pre-employment drug test and criminal history check
  • Minimum age of 21 years at application

Job Duties

  • Reliably show up on-time and ready to work
  • Maintain a high degree of technical competence and compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
  • Assist guests during boarding and conduct safety and emergency exit briefings
  • Interact with guests during the flight to provide prescribed services and continuous care
  • Provide hospitality and customer care after completion of food and beverage service
  • Operate emergency exits and equipment effectively
  • Ensure guest comfort and safety throughout the flight
