The role offered is for a Surveillance Security Officer based in Eugene and Salem, Oregon. This position is part-time, with a set schedule on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., totaling 28 hours per week. The hourly wage is competitive at $23 per hour, with the added benefit of DailyPay availability which allows employees quicker access to their earnings.
As a Surveillance Security Officer, the individual assumes a critical role in monitoring and maintaining safety by operating surveillance systems in various settings including security operation centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The job requires a sharp eye to detect and respond to potential threats quickly before they escalate, ensuring the security of premises and individuals. The officer’s responsibilities extend beyond mere observation — it includes documenting incidents, analyzing security systems for vulnerabilities, conducting patrols, verifying visitor identities, and collaborating with law enforcement when necessary. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Authorization to work legally in the U.S.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- Ability to perform concentrated monitoring and surveillance
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Willingness to work the specified part-time schedule
- Compliance with licensing requirements if applicable
Job Qualifications
