Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
willingness to work variable shifts as needed to support fleet operations
willingness to complete pre-employment screenings
valid driver’s license
strong problem-solving skills
ability to work independently and with a team
commitment to safety standards
ability to use diagnostic tools
preferred vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair
preferred experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair is a plus
proven experience as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment technician is a plus
strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems is preferred
ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
ability to work independently and as part of a team
commitment to safety standards and protocols
valid driver’s license required
CDL is preferred

Job Duties

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment, including oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and other heavy equipment
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
Rebuild, replace, or repair major components such as engine heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions
Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and repairs, minimizing downtime
Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures in the workshop and on job sites
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work using company systems
Stay updated on the latest diesel engine technology and repair techniques through ongoing learning
