Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred college degree in supply chain, operations management, logistics, or business administration
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operational or management support roles
  • Preferably experienced in transportation and distribution dispatching
  • Experience coordinating commercial truck fleet maintenance preferred
  • Experience with remote monitoring software preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail to confirm system data
  • Ability to learn and utilize SAP order management and transportation
  • Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
  • Commitment to Airgas safety programs and OSHA requirements

  • Commitment to Airgas safety programs and OSHA regulations

Job Duties

  • Forecast product deliveries accurately
  • Plan and schedule trips to maximize efficiency
  • Process customer requests and maintain detailed product records
  • Ensure compliance with Airgas Standard Operating Procedures
  • Communicate effectively with production, distribution, and sales teams
  • Verify and adjust delivery schedules using system data
  • Coordinate with drivers, customers, maintenance, and service personnel
  • Manage and resolve diverse internal and external customer issues
  • Support adherence to DOT rules and promote safety culture
  • Perform additional related duties as required
