Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid and current pilot certifications including VE7A and ATP multi-engine land
- first class medical certificate
- minimum 2,000 total airplane hours with at least 1,000 PIC multi-engine hours and 500 PIC hours in multi-engine airplanes, including 100 night hours
- ability to operate Pilatus PC-24 under IFR dual-pilot conditions
- pass all medical, drug, background, and physical capacity exams
- meet body weight requirement of 235 pounds
- commitment to minimum service requirements if relocation package utilized
- comply with vaccination and tuberculosis screening mandates
- strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
- ability to perform lifting duties up to 100 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Current and qualified VE7A certificate
- ATP airplane multi-engine land certification
- first class medical certificate
- CAMTS requirements met including SIC/ATP and minimum flight hours
- strong communication and customer service skills
- successful interview and acceptance by PHI management
- tuberculosis and vaccination screenings completed
- ability to meet physical and body weight requirements
- must pass pre-placement physical exam, drug, and background screening
- Covid vaccination required
Job Duties
- Operate Pilatus PC-24 as captain in a two-pilot crew under CAMTS guidelines
- conduct airplane air ambulance (HAA) operations with IFR dual-pilot certification
- perform line pilot duties in accordance with the General Operations Manual
- assist in loading and unloading patients and equipment as necessary
- participate in community outreach programs and comply with PHI Air Medical policies
- support company safety initiatives including Destination Zero and Safety Management System
- provide courteous, safe, and efficient service to both internal and external customers
