Job Requirements

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP)
  • Multi-Engine Land rating
  • Minimum 1,500 hours total pilot time
  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • Simulator evaluation or waiver
  • Ability to operate in compliance with FAA and company regulations
  • Fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking

Job Duties

  • Serve as second in command on two-pilot flights
  • Assume duties of pilot in command if necessary
  • Operate flights in accordance with company manuals and FAA regulations
  • Comply with administrative programs such as flight time limitations and medical certification
  • Maintain flight crewmember appearance and conduct standards
  • Keep current licenses required for domestic and international flights
  • Immediately notify chief pilot of any safety or compliance discrepancies
  • Take action to resolve safety or compliance issues
  • Direct flight crew as assigned by captain
  • Perform administrative duties assigned by chief pilot
  • Delegate duties within the scope of the position
