Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • at least four years of cooking or comparable work experience preferred
  • excellent customer service skills
  • computer proficiency required
  • ability to follow detailed instructions
  • physical ability to perform cooking tasks
  • availability to work flexible hours
  • adherence to safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • assemble trays according to prescribed diets in a timely manner
  • prepare food items according to standard production orders and recipes
  • complete frozen food production orders
  • process diet orders and menus and run required reports from nutrition software
  • prepare food inventory and requisitions accurately
  • follow guidelines for proper storage of food and supplies
  • operate, sanitize, and maintain cooking equipment
  • ensure cleaning and dishwashing procedures are correctly performed
  • comply with policies and adapt to changes in the unit
  • cooperate with team members and leadership
