Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years experience in restaurant or food service including one year supervisory role
  • Pass stringent background investigation
  • Pre-employment and random drug screening
  • Complete New Mexico Food Handlers Course within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors under varying temperatures and conditions
  • Capable of standing, walking, crouching for long periods
  • Perform physical movements including bending, twisting, reaching, lifting

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum two years experience in food service
  • At least one year supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of buffet line operations
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to write standard reports
  • Strong personnel management skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead staff

Job Duties

  • Assist in training cooks and preparing work schedules
  • Ensure kitchen staff adhere to safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintain clean and orderly work stations and storage areas
  • Assign daily cleaning tasks to kitchen staff
  • Monitor food temperatures and maintain logs
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints
  • Facilitate daily communication meetings
  • Open and close the kitchen as necessary
  • Ensure appropriate food preparation volumes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
