Job Description
We are a customer-focused pizza restaurant dedicated to providing exceptional food and a friendly, engaging service experience. Our team plays an essential role in serving fresh, delicious pizzas and other menu items to our loyal community. Included in our team are various positions vital to the restaurant's smooth operation, including front crew, kitchen crew, delivery drivers, and leadership roles for both the front and kitchen teams. Each position involves teamwork, skill development, and the opportunity to grow within our vibrant establishment. All roles include the benefit of earning cash tips, increasing overall compensation.
The available roles cater to different skills and responsibilities. The front crew members handle order taking through multiple channels such as phone, walk-ins, and drive-thru while assisting with basic food preparation like making salads and boxing orders. Learning these duties efficiently usually takes about a week, allowing new crew members to become confident in handling customer interactions and order system management. The front leader plays a leadership role by training new front crew members, managing customer disputes positively, and overseeing closing duties including shutting down the point of sale system when a manager is not present. Strong customer service skills and effective communication are essential for success in this position.
On the kitchen side, crew members assist in executing a smooth shift, starting with specific tasks such as dough slapping, oven catching, and pizza making. This role demands attention to detail, promptness, and the ability to learn the menu quickly to keep up with busy shifts. The kitchen leader is a higher responsibility role acting as a manager-in-training, ensuring orders are made beautifully and on time while supervising the kitchen crew’s station maintenance. Patience and leadership skills are crucial, as the kitchen leader supports fellow crew members' skill development and upholds quality standards.
The delivery driver positions are known for being courteous, friendly faces in the customer community. Drivers not only ensure timely and successful delivery of orders but also engage with customers, often receiving generous tips for excellent service. While in-store, drivers also contribute by assisting with cleaning tasks such as taking out trash, sweeping parking lots, washing dishes, and helping with kitchen duties when needed. This role combines customer interaction, responsibility, and teamwork, contributing to the overall positive atmosphere of the restaurant.
