Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform basic cooking tasks
Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards
Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks
Ability to follow directions and recipes accurately
Strong work ethic and reliability
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is an advantage
Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen safety

Job Duties

Produce quality food products consistently
Apply basic cooking skills, methods, times, and temperatures correctly
Utilize knife skills and adhere to sanitation and safety requirements
Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables
Clean, cut, and grind meats, poultry, and seafood
Transport food pans, kettles, and trays efficiently
Follow and complete prep and organizational lists along with food storing instructions
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, walk-ins, utensils, and work areas
Maintain a professional appearance consistently
Perform other duties as assigned
