Job Requirements
- Must possess certifications: Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Airport Firefighter, HAZMAT Technician, and National Registry EMT-Paramedic
- Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-08 grade level
- Ability to perform fire prevention, protection, and suppression duties
- Skill in operating firefighting vehicles and apparatus
- Capability to respond to hazardous materials incidents
- Competence in providing basic, intermediate, and advanced life support
- Willingness to comply with Navy Fire and Emergency Services policies
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to GS-08 grade level or pay band in federal service or equivalent experience in private or public sector
- Certifications in Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Airport Firefighter, HAZMAT Technician, and National Registry EMT-Paramedic awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard
- Ability to operate a wide variety of firefighting vehicles and equipment
- Proficiency in emergency medical care and life support techniques
- Experience in handling hazardous materials incidents
