Job Requirements

- 2-4 years of food service experience
- knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work under pressure

- knowledge of safety and emergency procedures

- ability to perform side work and maintain cleanliness
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greets and seats guests in alternating sections of the restaurant as quickly as possible
- presents menus and makes meal and wine suggestions
- takes orders and communicates with the kitchen
- handles cash register and follows cash handling procedures
- serves orders promptly with proper garnish
- presents checks for payment
- continuously checks on guest needs, bussing tables, and pouring beverages
- responds proactively to guest concerns to ensure satisfaction
- maintains knowledge of all menu items including food and beverages
- completes side work such as polishing silverware and cleaning
- practices proper sanitation and cleanliness standards
- reports tips daily
- ensures compliance with alcohol awareness procedures
- assists with room service, bar, and lounge duties as necessary
- carries trays and items up to 30 pounds
- follows emergency and safety procedures
- adheres to personal appearance and uniform standards
- performs additional duties as assigned by management
