The company is currently looking for a passionate and expert Server to join their team. This role requires a hospitality professional who excels in service delivery, understands the nuances of the guest experience, and demonstrates a Beyond Compare service attitude. The Server will be instrumental in guaranteeing that every guest enjoys a five-star experience, from greeting and seating guests to accurately taking orders and ensuring timely and flawless meal service. The position demands attention to detail, proficiency in managing sales transactions and cash handling, knowledge of menu items including food and beverages, and the ability to respond proactively to guest needs and concerns. Job Duties
- Greets and seats guests in alternating sections of the restaurant as quickly as possible
- presents menus and makes meal and wine suggestions
- takes orders and communicates with the kitchen
- handles cash register and follows cash handling procedures
- serves orders promptly with proper garnish
- presents checks for payment
- continuously checks on guest needs, bussing tables, and pouring beverages
- responds proactively to guest concerns to ensure satisfaction
- maintains knowledge of all menu items including food and beverages
- completes side work such as polishing silverware and cleaning
- practices proper sanitation and cleanliness standards
- reports tips daily
- ensures compliance with alcohol awareness procedures
- assists with room service, bar, and lounge duties as necessary
- carries trays and items up to 30 pounds
- follows emergency and safety procedures
- adheres to personal appearance and uniform standards
- performs additional duties as assigned by management
