Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of food service experience
  • knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure
  • passion for exceptional guest service
  • ability to carry trays and stand for extended periods
  • knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
  • adherence to personal appearance standards
  • ability to perform side work and maintain cleanliness

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greets and seats guests in alternating sections of the restaurant as quickly as possible
  • presents menus and makes meal and wine suggestions
  • takes orders and communicates with the kitchen
  • handles cash register and follows cash handling procedures
  • serves orders promptly with proper garnish
  • presents checks for payment
  • continuously checks on guest needs, bussing tables, and pouring beverages
  • responds proactively to guest concerns to ensure satisfaction
  • maintains knowledge of all menu items including food and beverages
  • completes side work such as polishing silverware and cleaning
  • practices proper sanitation and cleanliness standards
  • reports tips daily
  • ensures compliance with alcohol awareness procedures
  • assists with room service, bar, and lounge duties as necessary
  • carries trays and items up to 30 pounds
  • follows emergency and safety procedures
  • adheres to personal appearance and uniform standards
  • performs additional duties as assigned by management
